hello! i have nikon d40 which i love, but often end up taking photos with either my point and shoot as well, or even my iphone! as long as you're taking well focused photos using natural light (no flash) you should be able to use editing programs to achieve the effects you want. if you don't have photoshop, i love picnik.com for editing (it's free). i also use the 'instagram' app on my phone that works great for taking photos. best of luck!

haha, i'm drinking from it as we speak!! i use a press made by bodem - here's their website: www.bodum.com/. right now, my favorite coffee is a fair trade/organic peruvain i get from the sunflower market in colorado springs- it's really smooth and an easy drinker. i like to top it off with organic half and half and honey. yum! i think anything that claims to be smooth, should be good, and i usually go for a medium to light roast. :) i learned recently that the lighter the roast, the more caffeine present- and i need my a good morning kick!

hi! and thank you! hmm, adobe photoshop and illustrator are the industry's best, but are expensive so i would suggest either adobe elements or a program called print shop. hope that helps!

hi! aw, thank you! lol, i started out with NO skill! you can still learn to make beautiful things and the skills will come in time. start with simple projects like napkins, placemats, pillow cases, and curtains to gain some confidence. i love 'simple sewing' by lotta jansdotter, it's one of the first books i started with!

hi! thank you so much! i like to try to stay away from the big box companies too, and always attempt to support local, or indie business first. sometimes it can be really hard (especially when you're in target!) but i always feel better about the clothes i'm wearing and they *always* last longer. some of my favorites are 'spiritex', 'ruche' and of course, etsy! xo!

we cut them to join in a strait line (not a diagonal to the corner) and just filled the gap with some clear, waterproof caulk. works and looks great!

1) nature. nothing get's me more excited than the sunshine on my face, a walk in the woods, and dirt under my nails. :)
2) reading. endless inspiration in other's creative writing skills.
3) other artists. the creativity that others share through their work, photogrphy and kindness always lift me up! -
actually, it's more of an artist that comes to mind! katie daisy. ;) http://www.etsy.com/shop/thewheatfield

hi! hm, i think it would be best to section them by body part. that way, if someone is looking for a pair of earrings but not sure if what they want would fall under natural or whimsical, they will still be able to find it- does that make sense? so, i would stick to necklaces, earrings, & bracelets. then if you want to narrow it down even further you could section earrings off into two price categories (i.e. earrings <$20 and earrings >$20)- no need to do that though until you've got lots of items listed.
