I think it's rude when people accept a gift without saying thank-you, because that's just lack of manners at the end of the day. Do I expect things in return, most of the time I don't. It largely depends on the circumstances and afterall fair is fair. There is nothing inherently selfish about expecting something in return, it all depends on how you react to it.

I guess I'm one of thoses lucky bastards who is in a relationship with someone I have a hell of a lot in common with. However she wasn't a furry (at first) when we got together, it took me a year and a half to have to confidence to let her in on things, she had absolutley no issues with it at all and is actually now part of the fandom. I would never have a relationship with someone if there was no romantic feelings at all, what would be the point? It would be very hollow. Specific kinks however I like to think I could either adapt or make a compromise if I felt the relationship was worth it and it had a future. But as it turns out I have a partner who in into the same/similar sort of things as I am, so it's not a worry for me in the slightest.

Well it's an odd thing, I consider my fiancée not just as my partner and love of my life, but also my best friend (as in above friends I've known longer than I've known her). I've had attractions for people before who have become my friends but nothing ever came of it and those feelings changed to just friendship as time passed. But it's not the basis by which I make friends and never ever will be, I've found people attractive before who turned out to be total dickheads, so using that as a gauge to make friends really means nothing.

I'm a very social person by nature, shy people to me really don't make a lot of sense, but I respect their desire to be private all the same. I love spending time with people, talking and geting to know them. That's why I love going to pubs/bars with friends, it's a great way to sepnd time together.

My current aim is to learn new languages. I want to learn Spanish, German and Russian. Though I've been a great swimmer since childhood (I was a part of a team for seven years running) I really want to get back into properly, I want to get back to the standard I was a few years back. So I can do a three mile swim with no difficulties.

I'm completely not in the mood for sex when stressed or angry and my fiancée has a similar mind set.

There are very few things in life I tend to plan in advance. I like being spontanious, I like people sending a me text message saying "Hey, do you fancy a few drinks at the pub?", that sort of thing. The only long term plan I have right now is my wedding.

I hate it when people in general stand over my shoulder to see what I'm doing, with out asking first. I don't mind if someone asks me to watch what I'm doing for the most part. It only makes me feel very uncomfortabe if a person does this without permission.
