The name Grundy comes from Solomon Grundy, who is a villain of my two favorite comic book characters Superman and Green Lantern.The character name comes from a poem by James Orchard Halliwell published in 1842.

Grundy started off as a handle for on-line computer games like Starcraft and Unreal, but as one of my main competitors on-line was also a good friend, he stared calling me Grundy in real life. Many people in college never knew my real name because of this.
