My favorite clear-cut crossover is The Batman Superman Movie: World's Finest (TV 1996) which took the heroes from each of their own popular animated series and forced them to work together. We got to see Batman and Superman figure out each other's identities, Luthor and Joker double cross each other, and Harley and Mercy kick the stuffing out of each other. Awesome.
Who Framed Rodger Rabbit featured characters like Mickey and Bugs Bunny sharing the screen, if that doesn't count as a crossover I don't know what will. The movie featured one of my all time favorite villains, Christopher Loyd's Judge Doom.
And Stephen King's The Dark Tower series deserve an honorable mention. They are his best narratives and reference characters from his own books as well as everything from lightsabers to Quitch snitches. -
I really liked All-Star Superman #6, didn't cry though.
When you guys have cried for different moments in different media might be a good ESO topic. Bring a tissue. -

Star Trek: TNG, Star Trek: TOS, X-Files should all be givens for exploring the sci-fi genre so completely.
We all like Firefly.
But I've never enjoyed a show more than LOST. It isn't as sci-fi as the others in that it doesn't dwell on the science of time travel, electromagnetism and smoke monsters, but for the characters and mystery alone I find it to be the most compelling show. No sci-fi show before it has had the mass appeal or was able to draw as many new people into sci-fi and fantasy. This is mostly because it didn't start off with many fantastical elements. It is also the first show I know of where the fandom really informed the creation of later seasons. -
The name Grundy comes from Solomon Grundy, who is a villain of my two favorite comic book characters Superman and Green Lantern. The character name comes from a poem by James Orchard Halliwell published in 1842.
Solomon Grundy,
Born on a Monday,
Christened on Tuesday,
Married on Wednesday,
Took ill on Thursday,
Grew worse on Friday,
Died on Saturday,
Buried on Sunday.
This is the end
Of Solomon Grundy
Grundy started off as a handle for on-line computer games like Starcraft and Unreal, but as one of my main competitors on-line was also a good friend, he stared calling me Grundy in real life. Many people in college never knew my real name because of this. -
My favorite is Texas Hold'em. If I include games with wild cards, it is "Follow the Queen"
My least favorite game is Omaha. I know it is close to Hold'em, so close you should just play Hold'em. My least fav game with wilds is Baseball. -
I started playing my sophomore year in college. 2002 sounds about right.

Superman. He has the nearly absolute power and remains uncorrupted.
In the poker world, Phil Ivey.
