What the pink, fluffy bunny is a Fethmas?

  • Katherine Kerensky

Nearing the end of the year, many a family in the more economically developed countries (And more than a few less developed countries, no doubt), celebrate what is commonly called "Christmas". It is by mere coincidence that the day is shared by the holy day of Fethmas, where the participating families raise a tree (usually of the evergreen coniferous type) somewhere in their living habitat, decorate it, and worship it until said date (The 25th of December), when the holy spirit of Feth allows the devoted followers to descend upon its base, and receive the gifts that have been gathered there for them.
Truly, Fethmas is a wonderful thing, able to bring a tear to my eye all these years later.
