In regards to Christian dating and relationships I lack some clarity. I have several questions: 1. Is there such thing as "the one?" 2. Does God tell us whom to be with (i.e. via prophecy, dreams, revelation, etc.) or is that hyper-spirituality?
The "One" is the one you choose in light of being a Christian with the Holy Spirit as your guide.
My rule of thumb when looking for a possible dating option is to look to your left and right as you are pursuing God with your whole heart. You will find others with similar focus which is the common thread of successful relationships in the body of Christ. If you have to look back to find someone who is not pursuing God then you are making a poor choice.
