It was really real, you know, and really meaningful, it was one of those books that got me to think, because I'm not embarrassed to admit that like a lot of people I was a sucker for those mindless romance novels, you know? And before it I just sort of read that kind of stuff (excluding my series harry potter, percy jackson, THG) but the fault in our stars was the first novel that was geared to people my age, and it really and me think about things like death and life and legacies, and the writing was beautiful, and lead me to start reading books that made me think and feel.

the characters were well done and strong and i really liked Hazel which is difficult for me, i dont really tend to like the lead female characters, (I mean I admire them, but i don't really /like/ them, you know?)

and when i first read it, it really touched me, because I think it described a real sort of approach to cancer and sick kids, because they were imperfect and angry at the world and they had every right to be and they were just so /real/ you know? (im terrible at this, sorry),

What especially touched me though, was what augustus said about leaing a legacy. i think that's when I was really, properly fell in love with the novel; because I think when you spend your whole life thinking that your average, and you dont really know what you can offer the rest of the world, or what you'll leave behind, and you realise that other people feel the same way and how they're going to leave a mark on the world. and you read that augustus waters feel the same way, thats when, i really loved John Green.

because i think the fault in our stars was the most real love stories i've ever read, it was slow and unsure and real and thought provoking and beautiful.

“Sometimes, you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together unless and until all living humans read the book.”

this was really poorly written, but overall, tfios was the first stand alone book that made me think, and wonder, and helped me to ponder a little deeper about things like infinities and legacies and time and love.

      YAY! I love these questions:

Divergent trilogy if you've never read it,

The Mortal Instruments Saga and The Infernal Devices

Looking for Alaska and The Fault in our Stars

      Crossed trilogy

      The Kite Runner

      Hopeless, by coleen hoover

      Anna and the french kiss

Amy and Roger' epic detour- just finished it, really good!

PERCY JACKSON SERIES AHHH! (Favourite book series after Harry Potter)

Delirium Trilogy (the lastbook was kind of dissapointing tho)

      Hoped this helps!

i dont really know, i really dont want to abandon my stories, and i havent loss interest in them, but its more that i cant really find that much time to write and update. I don't really have a particular day set out to finish, i guess whenever i feel i'm ready, but i dont see myself being done anytime soon.

yup, i definitely liked it more than twilight, wanda reminded me a bit too much of bella- which was bad, but i liked melanie :)

it was an okay book overall, i just really didnt like the ending, and stephanie meyer's reasons for not writing a sequel.

BUT! the trailer for the film looks crazy good, and im probably going to go see it! (max irons, yum)
