Hahah, well. For those of you who do not know, I collected all of my nerves and puked them out on stage at Yuk Yuk's back in September.
I had a great time (which is more than I can say for the audience), and it was an experience that I'll never forget.
Stand-up fascinates me, I spent a couple of months working at Yuk Yuks and I got to watch a lot of really great folks tell some jokes on that tiny stage.
It's something that I hope to try again, just as a means of curiosity, but I don't plan to pursue it professionally. Who knows! -
Apple's response was a disappointing one, they said that most cameras today utilize USB, which is a damned lie. It's still a couple years until most cameras utilize USB 3.0.
If you're looking to buy a new laptop, I'd still definitely recommend Mac, the newer ones come with the firewire port after all the nerds rioted.
PS. I am by no means a tech wizard, so don't take this as any sort of educated response. I am an idiot. -
Yes. I love my Mac dearly. A few years ago, I studied Applied Arts at NSCC and they recommended students use a Mac for projects. I fell in love with it and never looked back.
This is my second Mac laptop. Girlfriend spilt a glass of water on the first. Only complaint is when they released the new laptops, they didn't include a firewire input, so importing and exporting footage is a huge ordeal. Luckily I have some great friends (who also are Mac users) who help me out. -
Asking this question is like asking why is the sky blue; because blue light from the sun strikes the air molecules and scatters, thus our eyes perceive it as blue. Thus, I am awesome.
