I'd travel to the opening night of The King & I, when my mother was playing Lady Thiang, the first wife of the King of Siam, when she was in the Army. I have a photo of my Mom's head shot from that performance & heard stories about it, but I wish I could've seen her. It was several years before I was running amok, however.
