There really aren't many to choose from but I guess Ethan Mars from Heavy Rain and Ryoto Dojima from Persona 4 are both pretty great, my favourite is definitely Eli Vance from Half-Life though. He comes across as such a kind and loving character, I can't help but really like him, and what happens to him in the end is sad.
