He's kinda freaky and intense there!

Oh cool! Sound delicious. I've just been going through a phase of eating the cheeses with cranberries or apricots in. So good!! And of course I eat lots of Red Leicester. I put it on everything, especially delicious on pasta! How come you're in Leicester now?
-
I just think it's a fun film, it's kind of like Ocean's Eleven for me, how it's a hybrid of multiple genres and easy to watch so you can just put it on any time. I also really enjoy the soundtrack and how the film has hints of the 20th century in it. Plus the actors, Heath Ledger, Shannyn Sossaman, Paul Bettany, Alan Tydyk, I think all do a good job and I just enjoy watching them :)

Oh gosh!! I love cheese. I'll try any type although I do have my favourites :)
How about you? A cheese fan? -
I'm kind of strange and bugged out most of the time, I don't think I need to add mind altering hallucinogens to the mix. Sorry to disappoint.
-
Yeah I guessed that, but I wanted to think of an alternative :)
-
Maybe we should. The we could watch A Single Man and talk about it some more :)
-
Haha! One of the few times I could be said to have depth. Got to mix things up on here :)

Empiricism... that's such a great word. And yes it's perfect for what we're talking about. I think it definitely is a theme in the film. As you'll know if you study English, film etc there is no wrong answer, all answers can be right :D
-
I agree. The fact that they don't want to drag others down into their misery shows the care. I do it too. I think everyone does one in a while. Just as long as people are happy a lot of the time, it's ok :)
-
:D no worries. I'm such a sucker for slow motion haha! I love it. And when it has extreme close ups of people's eyes and lips etc. Again, it's simplistic but so beautiful. I see what you mean by Coleridge and Wordsworth, the whole aesthetics of nature and the experience.
-
Oh god. I know! It's makes me think "how many other people are like that?" I mean they may be perfectly polite to you but breaking on the inside. I have to admit I've felt like that before (perhaps not as severely) His character's pain just hits you. It's incredible.
-
I loved loved loved it! It's mesmerising, I just love the way it's shot and I think that the characters really draw you in. Colin Firth for instance, doesn't make a big scene when he finds out about Matthew Goode, but you feel the pain he experiences. It is the simplicity that is the key. Julianne Moore is stunning in it too. I love everything about this film!!
-
Aww that would be awesome. I could talk about films all day so I doubt we'd be at a loss for conversation :D
Which Tumblr are you, if you don't mind me asking? I'll follow you, if I'm not already :) -
I haven't seen that film sorry. I liked him in Happy Gilmore and The Wedding Singer though. It's just most of his stuff I don't like.
-
I don't think I've seen anything he's been in. I'm sure he's a nice man :)
