      They say that 30 mins of cardio a day, keeps the Doctor away. The Heart Foundation believe that 30 mins of cardio a day, will only do you good. The most important thing to remember. Is when you begin regular exercise, start off slowly and increase the intensity or duration as you get fitter. If you go to hard to soon you are likely to injure yourself, or loose interest.

      Well that's depends on the intened use. For instance you choose a treadmill based on the level of exercise that you are going to use it for. A walker only really needs a belt width of 40-42cm. As you put one foot in front of the other. A jogger requires a liitle wider belt, becuase as you jog tend to splay your step, therefore require a wider belt to exercie on comfortably. A runner needs a belt width of 50cm and above, based on the speed of wich you run at, you splay your step even wider. The other consideration should aslo be your motivation behind it. eg if loosing weight is your main goal? then you will benefit greatly from heart rate controlled programmes. These will control the speed and incline of the Treadmill automatically based on a pre dertermined heart rate. This requires a wireless Telemetric Heart Rate Strap. This wil maximise your fat burn return from your workout and provides you with an accurate heart rate reading within one beat per minute. I hope this helps?
