As a young child, the first film I obsessed over and poured much time into was Ghostbusters. I couldn't get enough of that film. When I was older, in my early teens, I'd say Reservoir Dogs and Clerks both hit at a perfect time for me to want to see more films in the world. One of those filmmakers continues to impress me while the other has gone the way of the dodo in my eyes.

Good question. I think in the last 5 years I've watched plenty of post apocalyptic/dystopian films. No matter how big (or small) the budget, I love to watch them. Some of my favorites would be Battle Royale, Blade Runner, Children of Men, Alphaville, District 13 series, 2019: After the Fall of New York, Robocop, Escape From New York, 12 Monkeys, Delicatessen, Mad Max series, The World, The Flesh and The Devil among many others.
