From what I've seen: it looks pretty good. I know a bunch of Queer women right here in Bangalore. They are wonderful. Some of them are out to their families, some are not, but everyone is finding their way through the things that they are dealing with. I am not saying it will be easy but I know that it will be good.

I think I know just who you are. ;) Well, trying to be something we are not is almost never a good idea. I am very glad that things have changed for you. Don't go worrying unduly about "What next?", at least when it comes to sexuality. Just let it easy and relax. You'll find your way, I'm sure.

Here's hoping you find a new love soon. (Hope the same for me in return? :-p)

Um, there seems to have been a misunderstanding. Assuming that by 'surgery' you mean gender transition, no, I am not considering doing that. Although, I may or may not opt for 'top surgery' (which involves double mastectomy) or breast reduction surgery. That is yet to be decided and shall happen much later in the future, if at all.

As for your own situation, you do not provide a complete picture. Are you comfortable with your body and assigned gender? If you are then there is no need for surgery. And what is this about trying to "normalify"? Normalcy is relative. You are who you are and that's it. There is nothing abnormal about you. If you and your partner are happy with each other then who cares what the rest of the world thinks? Live your life, be happy and gay! :)

Yes, I love reading but don't get to do it often. From the few books that I have read, my favorites other than the Harry Potter series are:

The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice — most liked books from the series are The Vampire Lestat, Queen of the Damned, Memnoch The Devil, Blood and Gold.

The Artemis Fowl Series by Eoin Colfer — Loved the first four books. Fifth and sixth, not SO much.

The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time by Mark Haddon — This book is about a 15 year old math genius with Asperger's Syndrome who decides to investigate the murder of his neighbor's dog and ends up uncovering secrets related to himself. Must read.

Angels and Demons by Dan Brown — This is my favorite Dan Brown book.

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown — My next favorite.

Treasure Island by R.L. Stevenson — Okay, don't laugh now.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl — Proof that I am still 6 years old.

Matilda by Roald Dahl — Yes, I love little children's books.

Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë — Read it at my sister's suggestion.

Mosaic by Soheir Khashoggi — This is the story of a half-Arab American woman whose husband snatches their two little children and takes them with him to his own country Jordan. The authorities can't help her, she must help herself. So she goes to Jordan at great risk to get her children back from the man she loved and his orthodox family. I had borrowed it from a friend. Would like to own a copy for myself.

I don't know. I want to be in love but I have seen my friends who are/were in love go through terrible heartbreak and pain because of it. I am afraid of going through all that.

I don't have a girlfriend and neither do I have a crush on anyone right now. Except, of course, Sara k Quin and Kaki King but that's a different thing. My crushes are generally very short and not serious. I sometimes also develop such crushes on people I know through twitter. (Be warned, lol!)

Last year, I used to like a straight girl at the cram school. Wrote a poem about unrequited feelings, took her out on a "date" and everything. Then I got over her, haha!

Yes, I do. I don't have a high sex drive so I don't need to masturbate very often. As for the method, I go about it the natural way. Sex toys are illegal in India (All hail the fundies!) so I can't have one whether I want or not.

I was a bit weirded out when I saw this question, since I don't know who is asking. I'm very sex positive but I'm not very public/frank talking about what I do. I am relatively more comfortable talking about sex and related things if I know you, either in real life or through the internet. So, the next time you want to ask something like this consider letting me know who you are, if only to put me at ease. Maybe I'll even love you for it.

I'm only an occassional reader of comic books.

Among the usual Stan Lee superheroes my favorite is Spider Man because he is funny. On the TV show 'Heroes', however, my favorite is Hiro Nakamura.

I see rain falling on green grass right before sunrise because it is raining and I can hear the sound. Even though it is like 3.30 AM right now and it is pitch dark outside.

Actually, he is not. He may be bad at Potion making but you have to give him props for his skills in Defence Against The Dark Arts in the very least. As for examples of weak students at Hogwarts, the first that comes to mind is Neville Longbottom whose best subject was Herbology. Then there are Malfoy's thugs Crabbe and Goyle, thick as bags of bricks.

I had initially answered something else but deleted it when I remembered that I actually used to refer to myself as George Weasley for a long time. One of my best friends was Fred. He and I used to have lots of fun together.

So I would be George. And I would want Fred to not die in the war.

I think a band of wizards or muggles singing songs about the magical world - which is what it is. Although, I have never listened to it. I should.

Ever since JKR had said that a lot of people were going to die in DH, I had somehow guessed Remus was going to be on the doomed list. As for Tonks, for some reason I did not feel much at her death. I was sadder when we were told about the death of Colin Creevey. It's a war, people die. So, both of them dying wasn't overkill.

Having lived in the tropics all my life, I have never even seen snow. I would like to, it seems fun.

None. I think I strained myself way too much in PE yesterday and now everything hurts like hell. I mostly exercise only my mind and while typing, fingers.
