I've been lucky enough to travel to a few places to see artwork...
In Barcelona I saw the most amazing early drawings by Picasso, in Paris, many of his lesser known lithographs and sculptures.
In Amsterdam, the Van Gogh museum was amazing!!!

I wouldn't start with buying something.
I would start with paying off any debt my family and I have.
Then... I'd buy a car :) Probably a brand spanking new SUV of some kind, to lug all of us, baby gear & my photo equipment. :)

Not so obscure, but my all time favorite game ever has been and is Tetris :)
On most any platform, though I did rock it out on the original gameboy system :P

Cats and humans are extremely similar. We are simply bound by social expectations, and have become quite adept at hiding/camouflaging/suppressing our truly selfish sides.
Having said that, when a cat shows affection, you know it's genuine. Either as a thank you for a meal, attention etc, or just because you're feeling blue and they know you could use it, when said cat comes along and nuzzles you, you know for a fact, they love you. And that's why it's so endearing.

As an actor, a couple of small insidents, as a viewer, thankfully, none.

The braking glass one, the spilling coffee one and the itchy palms one, are both very very Greek (as is the Evil Eye, though the Italians adopted it too).
The black cats being lucky for me thing, well, I don't know, I just have always seen them that way. And butterflies, well... That's just how it's been in my life, see a butterfly, uber close, and something cool happens.

I once had a Monarch circle me for a full 5 minutes, to the point of the people at the bus stop with me, watching it. Most peculiar thing ever. And I had the most amazing day, and that month was a life-changer. :)

Well, most words that become a bit of a trend will end up being overused! right? :P

I am superstitious about odd things.. and not in normal ways..
-Black Cats are lucky
-Butterflies are a sign (of what, depends)
-Braking a glass means something negative/difficult has lost it's hold/reached a turning point
-Spilling coffee means you will be receiving money
-Itchy palms: left signifies you will give money, right signifies you will receive
-Evil Eye.. it's a very middle eastern & Greek thing, but think of it more as negative Karma

At the time she and I lived in the same building, so on a sleepless night, we decided to shoot. It was fun actually, though I will admit, my mom really hates being in front of the lens, and is horribly self conscious, so it took a long time to relax and have fun. Shooting with my mom, however, is not a new thing. She and used to use my grandads old Zenith, and play dressup all through my childhood and teen years and photograph eachother.
It felt like coming full circle in a way, because I was able to actually take photos of us both together, and we are both adults....
