Sadly, my eating contest days are over. I was on a medication a few years ago that caused nausea, and that resulted in me dropping out of the game. Although I no longer am taking that med, the field has gotten so competitive, and people are posting such high numbers that I couldn't even be a table-ender without some form of consistent training, and for me, that just ain't healthy. But that doesn't stop me from following the big contest and watching the Nathan's finals each Fourth of July.
