My story of working in the fashion industry is this: I started out as a web editor, stylist/fashion editor and allround reporter/interviewer at two magazines (published under the same company). After a couple of years I decided to move on and landed a job as fashion editor/stylist and editor in chief at another magazine. A couple of months later (as I was still at that job) I was offered a job as a fashion editor and stylist at InStyle and moved to Prague to work for them. Parallell to my job at InStyle I was still working at my other job in Sweden (as fashion editor/stylist/editor in chief). I didn't end up staying in Prague very long for various reasons and when I moved back to Sweden I continued to work in fashion for a year or two but had essentially decided I wanted to step back from the industry, if not for good then at least for a while. I had a lot of other stuff I was dealing with in my life at the time and needed to take a break and try to figure out what I wanted my next step to be.

Now I'm studying at University. I study IT and design, I guess you could say I'm studying to be a web designer but my education is rather broad so it all depends on which direction I choose to steer it. This might sound like a big leap from fashion but web design has been an interest of mine for over half my life. I developed and interest for web design (HTML, coding, the whole nine...) when I was about 11 or 12 years old and built my first website back then, and it's since been one of my big interests and hobbies. I'm doing a three year bachelor degree and I'm just nearing the end of my first semester, in other words I've got two and a half years to go!

I don't regret any of the jobs I've taken in the past, despite some of them having a rather detrimental environment. I've learned something every step of the way, life lessons and experiences you couldn't put a price tag on. I may or may not go back into fashion one day, it's still an interest of mine but for now I've put working in fashion on the back burner. I hope you're able to find what you want to pursue. Studying something your passionate about is a big advantage because you'll have an easier time staying motivated and taking in information if it's something you are really interested in. Good luck, and keep me updated on what you decide to do!

Although it's early, I'm looking forward to Christmas and all the surrounding holidays like Lucia (going to the big Lucia concert), advent etc. It's just so cozy!

Yes, we celebrate Halloween in Sweden, but i'm not dressing up this year. I was out last night and saw a lot of fun costumes though! Last time I dressed up I was Cleopatra.

Yes, I have some absoluely amazing friends! I am so happy so many of them showed up to celebrate my birthday, it means the world to me and I love every single one of them.

I'd like to. And I think I do. I have a hard time judging if I've had luck in my life though. I try to look at various situations I've been in throughout my life and I try to see the positive effects of even the worst things I've been through - so in that sense, I guess I believe in luck. I believe certain things happen for a reason, and therefore it's "lucky" that those things happened, or else whatever the result of that was, would have never been (provided the result was positive in one way or another). I've never won on a lottery ticket though.

Clutter really irritates me! I'm constantly picking up after other people, and I hate when there's no organization around me. I can't focus on what I am doing if there's a big mess surrounding me. And I hate being interrupted over and over again.

As of late, I have been remembering my dreams a lot. Unfortunately most of them have been nightmares. Last night was one of the rare occassions I didn't remember my dreams though. I know what I am dreaming about in real life though.

I once went to a small gig with an artist that was dressed in a tight latex catsuit, and the the band sang a song with a chorus that went "Cat, mjau" over and over again. It was pretty bad.

I loved anything that had to do with horses, so probably my barbie horses and a computer game with an animated stable with your own horses that you took take care of and took riding.

I'd definitely use it to invest in a home and in my education, but I would also allow myself so spend some of it on "fun stuff" like travels and treating friends and family to things, and invest a bit of it in a charity I felt I could trust and that I believe in.

I wouldn't say "never", but it's nothing I'm planning right now. Life could take me anywhere in the world, and I'm open and spontaneous - so you never know what will happen!
