If there are any, we have not heard of them. We do not purity test members unlike other organizations. Members are free to believe whatever they choose to believe.

Laws are required to be passed in order for the government to legally appropriate funds to projects.

If you worry that much about corruption in congress, does that mean you're against all government spending? And if you're saying we should only rely on NGOs for the country's reproductive health, this is tantamount to the government not being responsible for the country's reproductive health. This is tantamount to a society that does not care for the reproductive health rights of it's citizens.

Why does it have to be one or the other? You're more than welcome to help out NGOs like Likhaan or you could start one yourself. Be the change you want to see in the world.

Perhaps you don't need it, but our society provides for those who aren't as fortunate as others. There are people who are unable to eat even one decent meal a day and cannot afford contraceptives or acquire the necessary sex education. Many are also not able to acquire the health care guaranteed by the RH bill. You may not trust the government, but someone has to take care of the people forgotten and exploited by society.

We don't know for certain but based on available evidence, the probability that there is a God is so low that there you're justified in living as if there isn't one.

There is a spectrum of disbelief. Richard Dawkins came up with a spectrum, from 1-7 to describe this. 1 being a strong theist who believes there is a 100 percent probability of God and 7 being a strong atheist who thinks there is 100 percent probability of no God: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spectrum_of_theistic_probability
Richard Dawkins is only a 6 in his spectrum and as far as we know, there aren't any strong atheists in the filipino freethinkers. We have a diversity of beliefs and disbeliefs in the group, join us for a meetup sometime!
