On rare occasion, yes. I'd watch more if the drama fansubbers were even 1/10th as organized and skilled as anime fansubbers.

Fighter pilot or an aerospace engineer.

Even though no one ever suspects the butterfly, I think I'd rather not be one.
-
Honey and Clover. Watched it at least 6 times over the years.
-
Not so much laugh as roll my eyes at.
-
Honey and Clover, with Legend of the Galactic Heroes being a close second.

A series, the A Song of Ice and Fire series, has definitely been the most fun to read. Though my favorite in another sense, for utility, is The Art of War, as cliche as that sounds. I find myself going back to that one the most since it is applicable to so much.

It's hard to pick just one. So I'll offer some favorites by type of media.
Anime: Wolfgang Mittermeyer (Legend of the Galactic Heroes). My others are listed on my MAL http://myanimelist.net/profile/ExecutiveOtaku
TV: Garrack (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), Lester Freemon (The Wire), Omar Little (The Wire), Londo Mollari (Babylon 5)
Film: Bullet Tooth Tony (Snatch), Darth Vader (Star Wars), Faye (Chungking Express)
Written fiction: Ajax (The Iliad), Father Callahan ('Salem's Lot), Jon Snow (A Song of Ice and Fire series) -
Personal contentment. Being content and at peace with yourself and your place in life. It's sort of the starting point that lets you enjoy life and get you where you want to be in life.
-
Giddy? Very rarely.
-
It's been a decent year so far. Not great, not terrible.
-
Shoujo, no question about it.
-
Absolutely. Get me a ticket for the second* ship to Mars!
*the second one because I want some infrastructure in place before I get there. -
There is no such thing as being objective, especially when it comes to talking about entertainment like anime or anything else. And subjective opinions and analysis are always more interesting than trying to be 'objective' which generally just means 'bland.'
-
Some derivative of JunichiHeart? Or Shinn87 trolling?
-
No, I only heard about the series well after GalCiv 2 was already out.
-
The complete disregard for the good of the nation and our continuing influence and power abroad by many Republicans in Congress right now (see: the debt ceiling nonsense, the House Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere, etc.)
-
In descending order of importance, it's a mix of: story, characters, setting, and visuals. It's hard to generalize beyond that because what I'll look for will depend on the kind of series it is. For some, I really look for the emotions in the story to feel true to life. In others, I'll want lots of drama or a sense of humor that I can appreciate. Visuals are least important. I like visual creativity when it serves the story or helps convey the tone of things, but I'm no stickler for (technical) animation quality.
