What would I prevent? nothing.
It isn't that I don't regret a lot of the decisions other people have made, or that indeed, I don't regret decisions that I've made every single day, It's that on some level, (at least when it comes to preventing things,) I'm very much against knowingly preventing other people from doing things that are going to make them happy just because it's going to upset me. Doing so is manipulative and shitty.
What would I change? I wouldn't do things that I know are going to hurt people or make them uncomfortable, just because I can justify doing it at the moment. Again: shitty.
Having said all that, anyone who knows me well enough to be asking this question probably has a pretty good idea of what in my life has caused me happiness and what has caused me grief. -
(I realize that it's taken me years to actually respond to this, but still.) I recently got around to finishing Assassin's Creed 2, and (spoiler warning) the last fight in the game is a fist fight with the pope. In and of itself, this is entertaining. But what was even funnier was running around and watching him chase me. There's something hilarious about watching the fat pope running around.

I'm a big fan of Domino's new-and-improved garlic-encrusted goodness, but Pizza Street and Cici's also have the right idea with the whole 'pizza buffet' thing.

The internet, absolutely. The collaboration it brings is amazing. The downside is that it makes stupid people louder.

This video of someone pointing out that Viacom, who has been suing youtube for piracy, has pirated Jonathan Coulton. And that they owe him either $37 or upwords of $3000.

My friend's dad makes delicious beef jerky, but one time I stayed up far too late playing Team Fortress 2, eating beef jerky, eating oreos, and drinking pink lemonade. I got sick later.

I spend my time reading about people writing about video games, and watching old-ish T.V.
