I talked with my best friend on WhatsApp which is pretty much the same thing. And about our day, like we usually do.

I don't really think much about death. It's just something that really doesn't scare me and I'm a firm believer that there is life beyond death. Now how I feel when someone I know dies is a different story, at least the one death that has affected me the most. My father's death is something I will never get over. It's something that has affected me beyond words. Something that still, to this day, hurts me and makes me cry myself to sleep at night. It's different because it's not your death but that of someone so important you know? It's like a shock because when I got the news I couldn't believe it until I was walking up to see his dead body in a casket and all I could do was break down and cry because I knew it was real and that he was really gone... I knew I would never see him again and even though we weren't close and didn't have a father/daughter relationship it was something I always yearned for and I knew I could never have because he was gone and nothing I could do or say would bring him back. I have this emptiness inside of me that only he can fill. So I'm forced to live with it for the rest of my life. It hurts and I don't think anyone can fully understand where I'm coming from but I don't expect them to. I'll stop now because this turned into such a long sappy story.
