I love the name Julian so much! I don't think it is dated at all :)

I think its a really different situation in the UK, especially the suburb where I live, where I know so many people with old fashioned names growing up, it never really seemed weird to me. My friends growing up had names like Bertie, Alfie, Meg, Hattie, and I've known quite a few Florences and Esthers!

I don't like it on a girl! After watching Lost with the extremely masculine Sawyer it just sounds wrong to me on a girl :/

I like it, seems like it would get confused with Shannon a lot though - or maybe that's just my accent haha

I sort of like my name, I like that it's Greek (because I am) and I like the way it sounds, but not everyone gets it right and says uh-layn-ah instead of ell-un-ah so that's pretty annoying. I'd change it to Iris or Phoebe because they're both Greek and don't have the pronunciation problems!
