You try as you might to keep things going your way, but the harder you try, the further they stray, sometimes it's best to take a step back and let things ride for a bit. Forcing things into place can oft times make things worse, than if you were, say, a little late. A good example is studies. Trying hard to cram for a test can sometimes work, but in the end, it could also make you fail or just give you a headache. Sometimes the best thing to do is take a break, get a drink, snack, something to calm your nerves. And you'll find, in the end, it's easier for you to complete the task, and complete it right.
