Both can be a lot of fun in their own way; but cooking at home tends to be cheaper, and you feel more successful when you eat something you've made.

The future, as visiting the past is very dangerous, because it may change the future for the anything. Different people may be born because of it, those different people may do things that will create change; a butterfly effect, if you will.
I think I'd travel about fifty years into the future, because it's close enough so that communication isn't practically impossible, as it might be in a thousand years due to language evolution. Fifty years is also far enough to find out important disasters I and whoever else may need to avoid. It would be very tempting to look at my personal future, but such things are best left alone.

Nowadays I watch up to an hour at the most, and I only watch sporadically, now that all my favorite shows are gone or have become boring. I get my world news from the papers mostly.

A lot of sea creatures freak me out for no discernible reason. Sure they look grand on the documentaries, but when you've got the freakish, wriggling things in your face it's a whole 'nother story.
