Um, well. . .I didn't. (Claire would give a small grin, showing her fangs.)

Bunnehs! I'd love to live in a little burrow and have plenty of widdle bunnehs! :3

I'm enjoying Mass Effect: Revelation at the moment. (It's like Lily says: she's gotten me indoctrinated for Mass Effect. X3) I can't remember a favourite book when I was young, but I did enjoy Robert Munsch.

Only after eating corn on the cob or popcorn.

Firefox usually, unless I'm stealing Lily's laptop from her for a bit, in which case Chrome.

It depends on whether or not death is indeed the end for the dying person. The main character of my current story, Lydia, doesn't fear death. She's consumed a vampire's blood, so she'll turn when she dies. She's curious what the vampiric afterlife is like.
-
Lydia views death as a transformation of life. Her beliefs are that those who end their lives as humans go on to one afterlife while vampires go to a different afterlife, distinct but both pleasurable. It's part of her religion.
-
Lydia wants to "die" sometime in her thirties. She's already decided that she wishes to become a vampire before she becomes too old, to preserve her second life. She wants to live for about two centuries in total, but wouldn't mind any longer. Lydia isn't interested in children herself.
-
I'm thinking of including the fear of death as a theme in the story. There's several characters who have prepared themselves to become vampires when their human lives end, out of wanting to avoid passing on.
-
Lydia's religion believes that the afterlife is a pleasant place, where souls are soothed from their troubles in their previous life before returning to the mortal realm, either in their own world or another. Their holy books dictate that while humans and vampires have different afterlifes, all lives receive a pleasuable afterlife before being reborn.

It's not too difficult. There's plenty of jobs and the governments ensure that the people are looked after.
-
The centers of each race's lands tend to be the best places to live. The center of the human lands is fine for humans, but the vampire lands are good for both humans and vampires.
-
Technological development is stagnant, as the population of the world is comfortable with the state of the world. Social development is slow but steady.
-
It's illegal for male vampires to feed on female humans through biting their hands. The main character learns of this after a vampire servant gets scolded for kissing her hand.
-
The world of my story doesn't have any connection to Earth. Other than humans.
-
Men and women are in roughly equal populations. There are more female vampires, as the vampire lords of the past often turned women into vampires to serve in "harems" of sorts.
-
Humans have a variety of favoured occupations. Vampires tend to prefer physical labour, as their bodies don't tire as quickly as humans'. Miners in particular get paid well.
-
The people of the continent use silver and bronze coins for currency, since both are plentiful metals.
