Well, I like all my socks to have around one hole in them, otherwise they're pretty hard to get on in the first place. I don't like holes at the toes very much at all, but anywhere else is fine as long as it's not touching a rough place, like the backs of thin, stiff shoes, or the insides where a logo is.
Basically, holes are a part of the natural progression of life and death, and as such, we need to accept that all socks must come to an end-- even your favorite black ones with the jolly roger on them.
Sometimes, it's just time to get new socks. -

Good question.
I think I'd pick someone very adventurous, or someone with a dangerous job. I could help by going ahead of them into risky areas and running reconnaissance.
I think that way I'd have lots of fun for a long time, as long as there was an employee in that field. I'd be useful and entertained, which, I think, is the only thing a ghost could ask for. -

Oh, and I'm sure I don't have to mention that like all other people from the internet, I'm having trouble getting on a regular sleep cycle, so life is getting kind of surreal right now. That makes me feel dumb, and I start doing dumb things, like yelling at my friend and flirting with my enemies, and dancing with the devil in the pale moonlight... Anyway.
Also, I'm going to put words in your mouth ans ask myself "Ghosty, what are you doing?" and then promote my new text adventure because I think it's fun.
