Coconut is the juice of life, the taste of a summer breeze, and the scent of the gods.

Friday the thirteenth of November, 2009... Kristen's Fake Eighteenth Birthday Bash featuring Crumbling Arches and the Ha's Neptica Atlas... BEST PARTY EVER!

I mean, really, who else do you know who's had their absolute favorite band play a house party just for them?

Well, I'd say the event of my birth was rather important in the shaping of my life.

However, in recent years, I think my introduction to the music scene, courtesy of a little band called Crumbling Arches, was instrumental in my current life view as well as in the direction my life is taking right now. Music really can change lives!

Oh, this question is right up my alley! I actually have a document that is currently several pages long of unique and prospective band names that may someday find a band (real or fictional) to call their own. However, all of these names must be kept under wraps until I acquire such drumming and bass talents that I can create bands for them or until I finish writing my many future novels on the music scene.

2011 has already been the most eventful year of my life. I couldn't just pick one best thing from all the wild shenanigans and general awesomeness of the past few months!

Play the Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 app, and you'll fall in love. I can promise you this! It's a full length video game for under $5. Because I'm super lucky, I got it for $3. What madness!

Once the stars align, J. K. Rowling releases her books as digital versions, and I somehow find myself with an extra bit of cash, I plan on buying myself a Kindle. Can't wait till that happens!

Risk is absolutely essential in life. Now I'm not quite sure which risk I've taken is the biggest, but since I am always calculating in my decisions, I know I do not regret any of the risks I've taken.

Also, yes. It is a skill that made me quite proud as a young child.

Among my friends, I'm actually known as the girl who never sleeps. The less sleep I get, the more productive I am. It's a unique but wonderful dynamic!

What you know shapes your life and gives it meaning and depth. However, in terms of operating within a society, who you know affects your social standing, your ability to find work and make money, and your growth as a social being. It also affects the impressions others have of you. I would argue that only in specific instances are either of these two things more important than the other. As a whole, human beings need both knowledge and people in their lives.

Prepare yourself... My house of dreams would be unlike any other.

Located just outside of downtown Athens, secret passageways and rooms behind closets would be the norm in this house and the sub-basement level (only accessible through one of these passageways) would be home to a sprawling lair a lá Phantom of the Opera with a large church organ, gothic decor, and a themed, heated indoor swimming pool.

Above this, in the basement, there would be a soundproofed venue of sorts with a music recording room, a reinforced sprawling dance floor, a bathroom that pays homage to the bathrooms of other venues around town, and a curtained, mid-sized stage with a garage door on one side that would open to a large private lawn, zoned for outdoor shows. Each wall of this venue would look different: one would be lined with shiny and unique cds, another with show posters and band signatures, and another with a giant-full sized lcd screen. There would also be a two-car garage at this level though it would only be accessible by a stairwell leading up to the main floor.

On the main floor, the house would look much like a quaint cottage inside with a decent-sized living room (complete with big screen TV and surround sound), a modest kitchen with breakfast table, and three bedrooms with walk-in closets and two shared bathrooms.

Upstairs, the attic floor would house a master bedroom with a large bathroom complete with a jacuzzi bath as well as a California closet. There would also be a storage room up here.

Outside, the house would have a small screened in front porch and a large, half-screened back porch with a hot tub. The small back yard would be complete with a gas lit fire pit. The front of the house would be built of brick to look rather small and cute, much like a gingerbread house and there would be a small lot for public parking out front.

Can you tell I've thought of this before? :D
