She stopped drinking for a while after/during her last US tour under advisement from a doctor in order to save her voice; going by logic, one would assume smoking is certainly not an option.

Not really sure! I've never been a fan of U2. Lately I've been thinking I'd like to see she and Mr Hudson do something together. I guess time will tell what comes after the Katy Perry gigs.

I should certainly think not. Vicious rumours regarding Ellie appear every so often as she gains more ground. Whether this rumour is true or not is not our business. I do, however, again, say it is most likely false. X

Apparently Ellie is 168 cm/5'6" or 5'7".

No, she hasn't. There were odd rumours a year or two ago saying she was opening for them, however nothing solid is found.

I'm sure. Someone asked her on twitter ages ago and she confirmed the fur hat in the unofficial photoshoot was synthetic/that she doesn't wear real fur.

I would say sometime before or in November. If something happens for it not to be, Ellie's said certainly by early 2012.
