That site is still around? I think I lost a bet! :P
-
Nope.. just dress decently for the audition and be yourself.
-
Pretty much... I just don't have time to answer questions cause I'm trying to stay on top of deadlines... and I certainly don't have time to get all dressed up for VYou! :)

"how to achieve a seal of orkut ?" As soon as I figure out what an "orkut" is, I'll figure out how to seal it. If this is an emergency, I'd contact the Brazilian equivalent of 911.

I don't speak Portugese but I translated the above as: "Which the chances of, in Brazil, a humorist celebrated zoar a telephony operator TV and leave… alive?"
My response (without understanding the question) is "Maybe" -
Yes, absolutely. They'll already be filming the movie so I'm sure they'll have something to show at this year's Comic-Con. Doubt it on Fincher and del Toro may be in the middle of shooting so 2012 will be his year.

Sorry it took so long to respond to this but I think it's way way WAY too early to say that WB can't get their superhero movies in order. They're just taking their time and trying to do it right, rather than announcing release dates for movies that haven't even been written yet (ahem). Right now, WB has done the best with Batman thanks to Christopher Nolan and here's hoping Green Lantern will help get more attention for DC's second tier character--let's face it, Batman and Superman are their first tier and will always be since they're so incredibly iconic--the attention he deserves. But they're clearly making sure to develop the scripts properly and intelligently and getting the right filmmakers/actors involved and really putting the time in rather than having the process feel rushed just to get the movies out there. DC/WB own the rights to all the characters and their isn't the same sort of pressure to deliver or release a movie in order to keep those rights... well, except for with Superman I guess :) So yeah... it's way too early to say that WB isn't doing things right... the fact they scrapped the George Miller Justice League movie (which sounded like it could be horrible) in favor of individual movies may have been their best move.

Well, I've already seen Green Hornet and I really enjoyed it, so Green Lantern has a lot to live up to ... but before seeing Green Hornet, I would have picked GL in a second cause I love the character in comics and think that a lot of cool stuff can be done with him in the movies... of course, I've thought that about the Fantastic Four and the Hulk and Daredevil and the Silver Surfer as well... so maybe I'll just stick with Green Hornet :)
-
Everyone I know seems to love the movie.... as long as they're under 40. I'm over 40 and I thought it was just okay but was generally disappointed cause I expected better from the Coens and the cast. But whatever... there's no accounting for taste in younger people :)
-
Seems that way but I guess we'll know on Sunday after the movie opens :)
-
Sure, because it has an entire week of Saturdays between Christmas and New Year's. Most movies that open in the weeks before Christmas have significant legs with few exceptions. I expect Narnia to do closer to a 4.0 mult and yet it's tanking today.

I'm not sure if I believe that. Tracking is all about the people being asked and there is probably a strong fanbase of older males who wouldn't necessarily be around to take tracking calls. I know a lot of guys who want to see this and I do believe that between that audience and the younger boys who might not care to see Yogi Bear, the movie should do just fine.

I would love Noomi Rapace to get a Best Actress nomination for The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo and Vincent Cassel supporting for Black Swan. Loved both their characters and they're both really cool people, too, and I generally would love to see the Academy going a bit more international than just England or Australia.

There is no official Captain America trailer as of yet and I'm sure there is any planned for this month, although one can imagine that putting one in front of Tron might make sense. So far, the only official footage was the scene shown at Comic-Con back in July. as far as I know.
-
Hm... can't really think of any on DVD except maybe some that are already out of print.
-
I think Mars Needs moms could be a hit, but I really don't have much of an opinion on this.
-
Wow, not sure as I don't really watch or follow either one, though I guess I'd go with Bill Maher cause I had issues with his doc Religulous and would love to find out where he was coming from.
-
I'd go with the Coen Bros. because they have such a vast filmography and they've covered a lot of different genres that even their worst movies (Intolerable Cruelty, Ladykillers) might bring me some enjoyment at times of starvation.
-
Well, I know the next movie I buy on DVD (actually Blu-Ray) will be Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.
