How weird are you?

I'm pretty damned weird. Both in the word's overall historical sense, and in the simpler colloquial sense.

Historically, I'm guilty of being fated -- set aside for soke peculiar purpose by the gods. People who are like that tend to freak other folks out, both in good ways and an bad ways, and I sorta do that (adding in the neither good nor bad way as well). This is reflected in both my transition, but also in my status as a member of my particular faiths "priesthood" or whatever you want to call it. Best translation is just Elder Teacher.

In the colloquial sense, I'm weird in that I tend to be just a bit off kilter to what people think is "proper" -- more accurately, I'm the sort that fits in with one's expectations for the most part, but then there's the one thing about me that doesn't always fit in with the way people think I should be.

I've loved being called weird since I was about 7, and I've been aware of how I'm weird for a long time. It's kinda cool being weird, too -- you learn that a great many things are deeply, truly, wonderfully subjective, and that in being so, they become very weird in and of themselves.
