Family and food. The two things go together. Who gets together with their fam without a feast at the table? And sometimes you hate your family--your deadbeat dad, your drunk uncle, your rude-ass aunt who always says something stank---but you still manage to come together and be a family at the table. And we thought it was important to have our real family in the video to really get that across.

The MCs, Mas D, Rheturik and Mojo, went to elementary school and pre-K together. This was around the time when kids in NYC started saying "dude" (at least that was the first time we remember them saying it). Dude turned into an adjective = Dujeous (to a first-grader at least). They invented the word and ran with it, and it was the name of their crew. When we formed a band years later, we had a series of horrible names we weren't satisfied with. So we dug into our past and brought Dujeous back--and it stuck.

New York, greatest city on the world. But still gotta post up somewhere secluded and tropical (maybe Semana in the DR) every year in January and February, when NYC temporarily becomes the fifth circle of Hell.

This fall we'll be hitting up the dreaded Route 80 once again to promote Day In Day Out. Indianapolis and probably Bloomington. See you there!
