Hahaha what really? We're bringing my fandom into this now? Alright, I'll bite.

First of all you seem to be saying 2 different things here. First you seem to be implying "I started liking Hazama because my 'douchebag' boyfriend cosplays him." Then you seem to be implying "I only love my boyfriend because he cosplays Hazama because I am in love with the fictional character Hazama."

Which came first the chicken or the egg...? Cause that's the kind of logic going on here.

But all that aside it doesn't really matter.

Yes, prior to CtCon I did not like the character Hazama. Dunno if I hated him as much as I made it sound; but I just didn't like him.

You know what's funny? When I met Steve I kinda didn't really like him either. Yeah I was all excited to see him as a BlazBlue cosplayer. He kinda had an offputting personality though. One of those people that kinda leave a bad taste in your mouth after meeting them and realizing they're not entirely as friendly as you would think. As part of my Ragna shtick though, (I mean on top of being called a pedophile and paying for everyone's food and all that shit) I thought it was kinda of appropriate at the least for that kind of feeling since he was cosplaying Hazama.

I did end up getting his number to text him before the con was over (I mean, I got alot of cosplayers numbers, I always try to make new friends). We continued talking long after the con, eventually hanging out... and I'm not gonna bother with all the bonding and romance stories because what the fuck do you care.

...So you want to know why I like Hazama now. Because Hazama reminds me of Steve. Because that's what he was wearing when I met him for the first time. Simple as that. Every time he dresses up, or imitates the voice, or quotes a line, or does that silly little laugh it makes me smile because it reminds me of the one of the only good things I walked away with that CtCon. To be blunt, there was so much chaos and drama... it was my least enjoyable con. It ended up being for some of my other friends too. Considering the circumstances we met, whether you know or care or whatever, it almost- just ALMOST- makes me want to believe there's some kind of fate out there.

Oh and, in BlazBlue, before each match there's a little thing... "The Wheel of Fate is Turning."

So there. Hope all this stupid shit makes you happy. BlazBlue is my most loved fandom and has brought me not only Steve but tons and tons of new friends. I'm not in love with any fictional character. I might find fictional characters attractive and sexy? But I love Steve.
