Friend, I'm sorry for the delayed answer. When life gets dark from experience, I know confusion is going to follow -in fact I've come to realize that it is not the darkness that harms, but the mistakes we make in the dark. So what I do is pick the direction that's going to end-up with me facing GOD and run towards that end. I maintain a challenging confession and dare believe whatever positive thing I wish too, afterall there is little distraction for my eyes since it's dark right? :)

My dear Fellow, you asked what caused me to get serious with GOD, may I reformulate your question to mean “Who caused me to be serious with GOD”. My answer is GOD, for only GOD can draw a man to HIM. to HIM. GOD had to let me know how unreasnable it was for me to think that HIS plan for me was judgement and condemnation. I was reminded that my seat is still available in heaven and it will be a waste if I never made it, that HE had a plan to save me and reasonably enough- HE had a rock-solid plan to set me free from Sin. And I believed all f that :D
