People that laugh at everything make me cry and people that cry about everything make me laugh.

Seeing my family/not seeing my friends (and my family here in the USA)

Of course. I still am. Truly, madly, deeply. Working on getting that 'ex' status back to what I think it should be, with some necessary changes made. Am optimistic... But then I always am optimistic. =]

GAHHHH... it's taking me a lifetime to finish "Naked Lunch" even though it's AMAZING. Really one of the best things I've ever read. Then lined up I plan on reading "Lunar Park" By: Bret Easton Ellis (the only one of his books I haven't read yet-- he's my favorite modern author), and I want to re-read "The Virtue of Selfishness", which is a non-fiction collection of philosophical essays by Ayn Rand and her associate Nathaniel Branden.

Yes. I'm in love. I like "all the bullshit". If I didn't, I wouldn't stick around. I'm not the kind of person to give my time/affection as charity. If I put my energy into a relationship, it's because I mean it. Thanks for your interest. ha

lessons learned, which is always good even if difficult. it's been a very warm winter in Atlanta... so strangely temperate for January. I am in love-- which is always trying in the winter time. Very much ready for the rebirth that Spring will bring. needing it. all in all-- ups and downs... coming hopefully to a conclusion of growth and progress. hopeful.

I will dig a hole and label it love and trick them to fall in from above. Strategically placed at the front door I'll coax them to come back to get more.

I only just recently got around to watching "Taxi Driver" (Scorsese). Brilliant. The acting, the cinematography, and the story down to even the most minute nuances are... again... Brilliant.

Caligula: At the death of Tiberius in 37, Caligula succeeded his great-uncle and adoptive grandfather. There are few surviving sources on Caligula's reign, although he is described as a noble and moderate ruler during the first two years of his rule. After this, the sources focus upon his cruelty, extravagance, and sexual perversity, presenting him as an insane tyrant.

I don't partake more than what I need to survive out of any of those, these days. I'm rather more of a monk or martyr in the winter-time. "For a man to choose the hour of his own death is the closest he will ever come to tricking fate." unrelated, though nothing in truly unrelated. everything relates to everything else. just thought i'd leave you with that quote.

Well... I can hold my breath for a long time...

Rather like the inside of an egg prematurely cracked open. Not great.
-
I want to be a member of a perfectly choreographed and executed orgy of the world's most attractive (by my own personal standards) people.

I did! Hope you did too =]

The little things... Warmth, good friends, pleasant memories, learning, writing, good conversation, my wonderful significant other, antiquing, musing, daydreams, seeing family, planning big things for the future in terms of business, nick-knacks, creature comforts, Honey Bunches of Oats, music with soul. Hope, really, is what is making me happy these days.
