Good question! I think I knew when I became one! Perhaps knowing that you are going to be an artists clicks when either yourself or someone else looks at your creations and goes, "Yes! That IS art!" From that moment on, you are stuck. Deciding whether or not to pursue it is another thing. I'm glad that I did.

Most recently, I've been very stuck on archery. I work for an archery company where I do art for their advertising and by default, I've become curious and inspired to learn how to shoot a bow. I've since acquired my own bow and have been practicing. Watch out!
