(( RP is meant to challenge you, so... yeah. ))

As a whole, highly unnecessary as long as someone has a friend they feel comfortable enough to talk to, but some people don't feel comfortable telling anyone their secrets unless it involves an NDA, so they come in handy. That being said, I don't think that there isn't a need for psychology as an art. There are things that you do need an education to diagnose and repair, but most people go to therapists to talk shit about their job or complain about their day and to be told it's normal.
In the end, I think there are some people out there that need that level of depth that can come from someone knowing the inner workings of your problems- while I feel medicating to be kind of pointless as you're always going to end up with more pills to counteract the effects of the others, I feel that therapy and psychology has its place and can be useful, but just like lawsuits, people need to stop doing it frivolously.
You had a bad day? That's fantastic, tell your best friend, listen to a good song, have a cry, and be completely cathartic on your own, it /is/ possible. -
Enough to know the difference.

Being a human being. I don't mean that in the sense that other species are not good, but I mean the basic idea of being a human being before all the corruption and worldly woes get to us. When we realise that everyone wants to be treated with respect and love and that, in the end, there's no reason not to give those simple comforts to people. Life's too short for grudges would work as an explanation, but honestly it should just be something you do regardless of how you feel about someone. People in distress are just that.

My 'past' is limited, but if I were going to teach myself something a few years ago before I knew anything really, this would probably help: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdzbjUWu2VU

Depends on how drunk I am-- kidding, kidding. I'm usually all right, I like to think I'm the right amount of aloof and friendly combined to make myself interesting without being too memorable. Most people want to be thought of when they walk away, I want someone to not think of me for weeks, then see me across the room and get the undeniable urge to come chat with me, without feeling obligated. It's nice.

(( Can't I just rename myself to TITS? 'cause that'd probably be less embarrassing than what I do have, or some'at. That being said, I'd probably rename @Aglow to Iridescent because I think it fits better than aglow, as that makes me think of a lightning bug and honestly feels better in a sentence than it does as stand alone word. ))

It's not my job, nor my right, to play 'God' in someone else's life. There is a reason things happen, and if I saved them then, who is to say they wouldn't go on to die in some other, horribly horrific way that is wrapped up in the pain and loss of others as well. Things have happened and will happen for a reason, and I don't feel like purposely splitting my time-line just so I can play at being the hero.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAHyGbOXoF4 I like both. The original is always better because no one can make me feel like Adele does when she sings, but this is an interesting take on the song and is quite beautiful.

(( Self serving plots of damsel in distress, which is why I'm loathe to start my own plots because I'm afraid that's how they'd all turn out, but while they annoy me I'd still participate because RP is meant to challenge you. If you ignore everything you don't like you'll spend all your time in the D complaining about the good old days while bitching about the lack fo RP. ))
