My favorite thing I've ever made has to be the greenhouse on a roleplay sim I once built. The sim no longer exists, sadly, but there's likely still pictures around of the structure.

I used to roleplay Gor on IRC between the ages of 18-23. It was something interesting to roleplay beyond the typical fantasy or sci-fi, with an adult twist. I don't really roleplay Gor in SL anymore though, just create content for that community. Actually, I don't really roleplay anything in SL much anymore. No time.

I chose to be black because I looked around and saw that everyone else (at that point) was california blonds. I didn't want to be a clone of everyone else, and I wanted to experience life as a minority. So over the years I've been in SL, my skin has gotten progressively darker, my features more decidedly ethnic. It's been interesting being dark-skinned in SL. You'd think that online, color doesn't matter? Well, it kinda does. I get discriminated against, told I'm not pretty enough, get occasionally called racial slurs. It's the way of the world, I guess, for people to be racist.

I got hit with World of Warcraft burnout and started looking for something else to do. Someone on IRC recommended I try Second Life, so I gave it a shot. What made me stay? My friends, time and again. If it wasn't for them, nothing I do in-world would really be worthwhile.

I'd change the square footage of my apartment to something a lot bigger. :)

College. If only I had gone and gotten that art degree... maybe I could make sculpties. And work in a real job like advertising or game design.
