Well, since I never get any bad comments since I barely make stuff, I'll say what I've learned from others.

I would see how many of my friends, and family were still alive, and team up with them, and other groups that are still alive that we find. We would have people to carry food, people to make plans on where to go next, people to attack the zombies, etc. We would make our 'home' until we 'moved' in an abandoned home or anything, but not before scouting for zombies if they were in there. Then, we would 'move in' and take anything we needed. It would keep going until we finally found peace.

I can't think of any NES or SNES games, but I have one N64 game in mind,
Mickey's Speedway USA. God I love playing that game when I was three.
