((Just to give a bit more info where this came from, it was posted by Jim Hague, who was one of the developers of Eden Studios' CoH tabletop RPG. He got this game bible straight from the devs when the RPG was still being designed. Some of his character write-ups for the tabletop game are mixed in there too.))

((This is just a semi-educated guess from what I've seen, and from what Price posted about the recording functionality, but I _think_ any of the "overworld" maps would be part of the client itself. I'm not sure about bases, mission maps, or AE maps, though. Obviously you can't have _all_ of those in your client, but there has to be something relating to them in there if the game can play back recordings in SG bases. It might just be that the client has all the individual components for those built in, and the server just tells it the structure of a submap when it needs one for the client to assemble into a full map; and in that case, assumedly recordings in a submap would store that information too somehow.
Again, though, this is all just guesswork.)) -
(( The fact that (theoretically) I'm on FS at all at least answers that a little. :P ))

(( Okay, this is ... kind of stunning. And out of nowhere. http://na.cityofheroes.com/en/news/news_archive/thank_you.php )) [13]

(( Charcoal told me about this early today, and even though I'm not really in game anymore, that's still a big blow. All kinds of stuff I never got the chance to do in game. At least there'll be 3 months to wrap it up; hopefully I can at least get through Praetoria before things close down, but I've still got a lot of good memories from CoX. :(
There's still some hope, though. Titan Networks is trying to set up some sort of fallback; anything from licensing the engine from NCSoft to getting enough tech details to set up a private server, whatever they can work out to keep the game going. So this doesn't necessarily mean the end yet, at least! )) -
Almost everything's okay sometimes, just depends on the situation.

Because unless I got lucky enough to turn into a ghost too, I'd be gone. Couldn't do anything else, couldn't change anything else. Why would I want that?
And not to be a downer for you, but even ghosts don't last forever it seems like. -
Wraps. Easier to pack, cheaper, and they taste better.

I started maybe five or six years ago? I can't even remember, really. Stopped about a year ago now, so probably three altogether if you don't count the breaks.

((To be fair, from what I've seen so far that sort of intro to FS is pretty IC for her :P))

Motels, I guess? I've never been on a road trip, but I guess it'd be more comfortable?
-
No, I'd probably just ask my sister for one. :)

Around 6-8 hours usually is normal.
-
The name's probably obvious. And it would probably confuse anyone looking for the regular Nereid color.
-
I don't think so. That's one line I never wanted to cross.
-
I'm not actually sure. I don't think so?
-
No, that's very much not normal. To a worrisome degree.

...Just now, I guess it is. Wow. You seem in good spirits about it, I guess, but I'm still sorry to hear it. And the same for anyone else that might've lost someone there.
What about the rest of the city, the people there? How bad was it? I mean...a nuke, obviously, but looking around online there was some kind of evacuation before it hit? All I'm seeing number-wise is a bunch of rumors, I can't tell what's legit and what's just gossip. -
Nannet? Oh, I'm sorry, she's the one that's been contacting me like this. But checked in with you? I haven't even talked to you since you set things up for me the first time, I didn't know you still wanted...check-ins.
-
I'm sorry, but I don't exactly have an easy way of contacting you, Selene.
