      The last good book I read was "Belgarath The Sorcer" by David Eddings. I also recommend the biography of Queen Noor of Jordan - talk about cultural shock.

      Damien, I totally agree with you. It is the most frustrating thing that I, in American, am expected to learn the language of those coming here so they won't feel offended. Well, DAMN IT ALL ANYWAY, I'M OFFENDED. Even though I do feel we should be learn

      the reason we've reclaimed nigga is the same reason as gays reclaimed 'queer' it takes the sting out of the word and we can use it about ourselves, it is NOTHING like your rather childish example of holocaust.

      I dont necessarily believe that you properly read my post. I think you misread and should read it again from the perspective that I it was written from - a genuine question. My holocaust example was me trying to use a cultural example that *I* could relate to given the histories of both words.
