All through high school I never really needed it. I thought about going to driver's-ed, but by 17 I figured I could save the cash and just wait until I was 18 and take the test outright without the classes. Plus, anybody in school that had a car, usually got it from their parents. i don't exactly come from a family that'll just let me have their car when they get a new one. Shit doesn't work that way for everybody.
Staying on topic, I've always known that I needed it, but I keep putting it off. At one point, I went and go the permit and drove around with that for a couple months anticipating the road test. I was going to use Heather's car and I told her that she needed certain documentation for me to take the test. She said that all of that shit was in her car and I didn't need to worry. I trusted her and didn't worry. Then the day of the road test came.
I waited in the line of cars and the guy came to my window. I handed him the documents and he handed me them back and said, "I'm sorry, but this insurance card is 6 months expired. You can't take the test."
Heather's insurance is through her Mom's plan. She just gives her Mom cash and it's taken care of. She never got the renewed card from her Mom and thus, my ass continues to ride the bus. -
That really depends on the time, weather, mood and who I'm with. I could give an exact measurment, but then that would ruin the mystery behind, Tall, thin, big feet.
