   When was the last time you received flowers?

   Last week Delphine left for a 2 month trip. Just before she left she put a vase of roses on my desk.

   What is the best way to photograph stationery? Using a macro lens? Using a point and shoot camera on the macro setting? Lots of natural light or a lightbox?

   We shoot in natural light with a Nikon D3000. I like the macro setting, but don't always use it, depending on how many props I have in the shot. I have used a lightbox before, but I'm no lighting expert so sometimes the photos aren't the best for me. If I were shooting really plain/white background shots I would most certainly use a lightbox to ensure consistency. But all our stationery is "styled" so I tend to shoot larger photos in natural light.
