Hmmm... Probably either a nice silky bamboo or an alpaca wool for things that are commonly available. So far as things that *aren't* commonly available? Qiviut. Made from the undercoat of arctic musk oxen. So very very soft. Also somewhat rare. Best when mixed with bamboo or similar fiber to give it a little bit of stiffness.
