Hiya!
Real Chanel tees are realyl expensive and hard to find, but there are a few brands that do Chanel-inspired logos. Try Wildfox at Superette (http://www.superette.co.nz/handmade-nove-tee-ceramic-white.html) or this one (http://www.superette.co.nz/hippy-crew-tee-rosaline.html). You could also try Ebay, and they often have them on Asos although I can't see any at the moment. Good luck!

Funnily enough I didn't do the usual journalism degree, but studied fine arts at art school and majored in photography. I also had a massive passion for writing so when I finished I worked my ass ooff and wrote for free for a number of mags to get my skills honed and a portfolio together. I also had a funy little blog that I practised writing on - it really helped me find my own personal voice. I then scooped up an internship at the DominionPost, and worked my way up from there writing fashion and styling. Hope that helps!

I didn't state it was ridiculous to purchase original Prada earrings, I merely acknowledged that most of us would struggle to afford them. My logic in hosting the Scotties sale? I adore designer garments, but like many of us I can't often afford them, and a sale as incredible as the Scotties ones is a great chance to pick up designer garments at an affordable price.

I do occasionally take interns, but as you'll understand my work is very important to me so I'm pretty picky about who I take on. If you'd like to intern with me it's probably best you email me with a little about yourself and some examples of how you think you can be of assistance to blogcrazychic@gmail.com. XXB!

Jelly shoes come in and out all the time, the Twenty-seven Names girls love the school-girl aesthetic so jelly shoes with socks fitted their collection perfectly. I've spotted some in Asos and Topshop, and you can also try Styletread.com.au.

As much fun as that would have been, sadly you were istaken. There are lots of androgynous models now - he started a trend for them !

Hiya, I was supposed to be. But TV3 are media partners with NZ Fashion Week this year, meaning they have monolopized the content. This has made it very difficult for Stuff (my bosses) to cover the event, so they have decided not to this year. Unfortunately this means I'm not allowed to officially cover the event either as my blog is hosted on Stuff. I'm really sorry about this. I promise I'll be there next time for you all.

A notebook or tablet for taking notes on things you love and trends you see, muesli bars to tide you over between shows, a water bottle for the same reason, a big carry-all to lug about all your things, and a great pair of heels!

Perfect timing with this one - I JUST found out about this amazing new product by Wella called Colour Fresh. It's a semi permanent dye that's designed to deep condition and make your hair gorgeous whilst colouring it. It's great for playing with bold colours, as it only lasts ten washes. Best of all it's cheap as chips and you do it at home - $23 from Wella salons. There's a myriad of different bold hues to choose from!

I'll be attending all of them, and reporting daily via Auckland Now http://www.stuff.co.nz/auckland/

Hi, I love street style blogs streetfsn, helstreetstyle and jakandjil, into the gloss is an amazing beauty blog, and move slightly is great for nail art. I also read 5inchandup, Stylebykling, hanneli, gary pepper vintage, man repeller, backyard bill, zanita zanita, and about a million more!

I never follow those old fashioned rules. I say always go with your gut instinct with these things - if it looks bloody awful then avoid. Otherwise, rock it! I would!

For my heavily embellished things that are super delicate I avoid washing them unless it's desperate. And then I get them drycleaned. I dry clean all the stuff that scares me. Silk underwear I always wash by hand or use a wash bag on a delicate wash. And for silks I hand wash too. I generally try to be good and look after my clothes, but for some reason I have an allergy to ironing. It'll all be clean, just don't count on it being unwrinkled

Start writing about the things that you enjoy, and that inspire you. In order for a blog to be successful it needs to read well - plus you never know who'll stumble across your blog - so write every post like it's a real magazine article. Think about the 'angle' your blog will take - is it a commentary of what others are wearing? Is it an outfit blog where you photograph yourself? Will it be thoughtful? Funny? Silly? Text heavy? Keep your posts regular - it's easy enough to get readers, but to keep them you need to be updating all the time. Try not to keep it one-sided - people tend to respond better to blogs that involve them as well; so ask questions, for your reader's opinions, and listen to their suggestions or requests. Good luck!

I adore photographer Annie Leibovitz's book, and for meaty reading I love Roland Barthes' The Language of Fashion. And a heads up - I hear the Mario Testino book of photogrpahs (out in Nov) is completely amazing as well!

Haha! I know this problem well! I usualy wear a nude slip under my skirts and dresses that do this. It adds a bit of grip, and also acts as a safety layer.

Hi, 1 - Wellington's Deryn Schmidt is new this year, she doeselegant feminine pieces with great prints. Also Surface Too Deep is a swimwear brand well worth watching - we're well due for a new Kiwi swim brand and this stuff is awesome. 2 - To really make an impact at fashin week you need to stand out. This means sculptural garments, great colour or use of print, artistic accessories or mindblowing footwear. Right now I have my eye on a full white lace high neck frou frou dress be Ted Baker. It reminds me of Alexander McQueen's latest couture pieces.

Well right now I have images of Prabal Gurung catwalk on my desktop background. I alternate that with Proenza Schouler - I love the wild prints! Locally I'm currently enjoying Salasai, and Kate of Arcadia for accessories.

I'm not really a slobby dresser at home (not in the holey track pants sense anyway). I tend to pick my "at home" clothes to be comfy but still stylish enough to make me feel nice - cashmere sweaters, Stella McCartney for Adidas leggings (sporty and chic), men's dress shirts, skinny jeans and ballet slippers. I also have a floor length wrap evening gown by Starfish that functions perfectly as a dressing gown!
-
I'm really looking forward to seeing what Salasai does this season, this summer collection was such a big jump from what she used to do! Also looking forward to cheering on newcomers and seriously awesome swimwear label to watch Surface Too Deep!
