I'm reading "The Elegant Universe" by Brian Greene, which my bf just happened to bring home just before the World Science Fest NASAtweetup with him was announced! How's that for timing? :) I'm also reading "The House of the Seven Gables" again for sheer pleasure reading, love Nathaniel Hawthorne dearly.

I haven't read "The Fallen Sky" yet but it's on my list. I don't get too much time to read these days, unfortunately. It's a shame as I really do love to, read 5 or 6 books a week when I was younger and miss that.

I've been struggling with this question. There are just too many amazing things to do and I try to do as many as I can. It also depends on what you mean by "amazing".

My dearest wish in life is to hike the Appalacian Trail. Doctors told me I probably wouldn't be walking by my mid-30s (due to back issues) and I'm 34 now and still walking strong, so that would be the ultimate gesture of beating the odds, as well as a beautiful trip and a life-changing experience. Just get away from the normal world and walk, walk, walk... :)

Bad spelling. No, seriously, there are much bigger things I would love to combat but that seems somewhat accomplishable. Bad spelling hurts me the way that a person with perfect pitch can't stand hearing off notes. Sure, we all have typos or the occasional tough word but some people really can't spell and don't care, which makes me sad and angry. Literacy is the first step to liberty and spelling is a major component of literacy.

I watch way too much TV! My favorite show of all-time is The Big Bang Theory, it's the perfect combo of smart AND funny that makes me all warm and fuzzy. If it had been on when I was a kid my life, frankly, may have turned out quite differently!

I like a small percentage of sci-fi but have never gotten the comic thing. My brain prefers to make it's own pictures, although conversely I do have a great appreciation for comic art (it's really got fabulous technique behind it). I do tend to like Marvel more than DC to what extent I like comics, their explanations seem somewhat feasible whereas DC tend towards the truly fantastic, which kills my suspension of disbelief. I need some sort of root in reality.

I'm more into sci than sci-fi, as I usually put it. :)

Wow, missed a lot of questions! Sorry about that. Hmmmmm... favorite word... a tough call. Right now it's probably "elegant" because I am always looking for how to make things more elegant and thus say it a lot. I think everything should have elegance, without that it doesn't make much sense.

That's extremely tough! I guess at this point it's my Droid, the only thing I would change about it is to add Adobe Creative Suite and MS Access (it has an Office emulator for the other programs). But that's a tall order and I'm realistic. I'm also mad for my bf's PSP that I play constantly (I don't think he's played on it more than an hour as I steal it too much). I dislike touchscreen gaming, so it solves that problem perfectly.

Oh, geez, I can think of arguments for too many gadgets...

Honestly, I have no clue, but it really bums me out. I prefer avoiding artificial coloring but I have a weakness for blue food and drink. Lol

Sorry, highly unlikely! He's the most amazing guy, one of the many reasons I'm the luckiest woman around :)

Cocal-cola Classic, always. I was an addict, now I usually have only one a month. I prefer water and juice to soda these days

I love art, science, being athletic, politics, theology, and philosophy. Pretty much interested in everything, which I find rare these days. Plus, I've spent most of my life feeling like I was born the wrong gender, despite adoring what femininity I have. To top it all off, "renaissance woman" just sounds wrong, kinda like a courtesan. Not me at all!

Hard to say, these days I mostly use a rhyming dictionary but I love just reading my 1964 edition Websters (yup, I'm that much of a language nerd!)

Well, why, thank you!! :) Hope you enjoy it, it's really sounding phenomenal to these ears (but I may be biased lol)

Hey, I saw a clip of this song on TV the other day and had no clue why they were showing it! Pretty cool story.

Maybe I could, but I won't. However, I may just pass that on to a friend of mine who might be perfect, so thanks for the link!
