I think if I can pick research projects all over again, I'd go for projects with more environmental chemistry emphasis (as opposed to the current biochemistry/biophysics stuff I'm doing). For example, if I opt to stay in the NMR field, this would be a nice project to be on:

Given that it's 15 degrees Fahrenheit outside right now, I'd say moving to a more hospitable town. =)
Some places I thought about include San Francisco (if I can afford it), DC, Portland (the Oregon one), and Taipei.
These places are also in consideration, but they're not more hospitable: Portland (the Maine one), Montreal, Quebec City. -
Pullman, WA circa 2050. Maybe WSU would still be there?
