Well. This is very interesting. My current boyfriend (Phillip) and I were in this exact situation. I was throwing hints at him left and right and he never responded to my attempts, so I gave up. Come to find out, he was giving me hints, too. That I totally missed. I had ended up texting him while I was stoned and telling him how i felt, he returned the feelings and we started dating. All in all, hints are never a good way to see if someone likes you. You're better off going balls to the wind and letting them know how you feel.
