What Do You Really Want To Know About Me?

A Mac IS a PC. So the answer will always be PC, whether using Mac, Windows, Linux, etc. Anyone answering differently is brainwashed by Apple.

That's up to you. Just remember one of my favorite, empowering truths: "it's not about what happens to you, but about what you do with what happens to you."

I already know this one because I wrote what I thought would be my last words when I was dying in the hospital and being rushed to intensive care... I scribbled some goodbye's as fast as I could, and then... "People... are beautiful."

"Would I want others to protect and care about my well-being and safety, even if they didn't understand or relate to me?" And then ask yourself to do the same for those you may not understand... even if they are of another species.

NO way. Not in this 'hood! But I now have an alarm security system in place!

I don't think it's any more offensive than Christians building a Church near a playground, or in San Francisco, near the children they've molested, or a population of gay people they've terrorized and murdered.

I don't have a criminal record (that I know of), but I was once arrested in my early 20s for stealing food from a grocery store when I was poor and hungry. I was later asked if I was gay because the list of things I stole were not the typical items stolen: kiwi, whole-grain pasta, garlic-infused olive oil, sundried tomatoes... I may have been hungry, but apparently my gay gourmet tastes could not be compromised! lol

Everything is forgivable, but what I have the hardest time forgiving are all variations and extensions of Dishonesty. I despise Dishonesty.

For many people, I think of the same sadness I would have while watching an innocent child pull the wings off an insect, or when a child hits a puppy, because a lot of people really just have not made the connection, and they don't realize or intend to cause so much suffering. It's difficult to be around and to watch, but I have to keep my wits about me and hope they will eventually learn enough to care. For others who refuse to make the connection, and think it is "their right" to exploit animals, I feel a mix of sadness and anger toward them, because it's still a matter of someone just not comprehending how much suffering is caused, and I am always hoping they will open their hearts and minds at some point, but their active refusal to consider anything beyond convenience, tradition, or biblical justification for cruelty is very difficult to endure sometimes. In the end, I only feel sadness for anyone who still eats animals because it implies just how far we have to go as a species before Compassion is the priority over Convenience, not only in dealing with animals, but Earth, and each other.

Personalization. If people would include a note, a comment, anything to personalize it, then it would be more social, but just auto-posting a check-in to a business is spamming us with advertisements and is profoundly self-important. And stop copying check-ins to every network so that we see from 3 or more directions that you just entered MacDonald's. Seriously.

that we let ourselves love, and let ourselves be loved

Death. No matter how comfortable I am with the "other side," and all that spirituality implies, Death is still difficult for me to ever understand or accept.

I like both of those, but I do love the more personalized Krississippi!!

Watched MOON again, starring Sam Rockwell; a heart-breaking, poignant look at consciousness, existence, and the question of "who" is real within our bodies.

Because I was getting a tsunami of questions from "anonymous" that were ridiculous, filled with misspellings and bad grammar, and were pointless with no context. If someone I know is doing that, then I want to know who it is.
