      Key-wise, I know the shouting of his early days screwed up his vocals, but he sounded like he was on fast forward for a good 15 minutes.

      It's all good...I mean at least you got to go and have an amazing time!

      Haha yea sorry about that... How was your weekend? Did you watch At The Drive-In's Coachella set?

      My weekend was pretty laid-back; I spent it pretty much lounging around and taking advantage of the weather while I could. And no, I did not watch their Coachella set (I'll definitely look into it though.) I've always wanted to go to Coachella...it looks like so much fun!!!

      That sounds awesome :) and I meant I almost peed because of your affinity for The Mars Volta (by far my favorite band)

      I figured that much. But what threw me was when you said, "I remember those days." But I finally understand what you were really getting at.
      It's hard to figure out what people are talking about via messaging...unless you're ridiculously specific (which is annoying)

      And after weeks of rain we finally got a beautiful sunny day and I spent it playing volleyball at Alki. It was heaven.

      Yea the Zechs are still pretty loyal too, At The Drive-In, however, is one of the most recognizable rock bands of the 90's-00's. They would be even more well known had Cedric and Omar not wanted to move on to create The Mars Volta (Awesome).

      Haha we're pretty loyal to our hometown bands (the only famous ones basically revolve around Omar and Cedric). Yea they did a mini tour of Texas playing small venues. Ours was the biggest at 1200-1300 people so the line wasn't bad at all

      That's cool that you support the locals. I'm all for it. (But then again I'm in a good city for good, local musicians)

      Sorry about the typos, I'm using my phone... About three hours, which wasn't bad at all! But the Zechs Marquise took 2 and a half hours to start their set once we were in which was ridiculous considering they never do that especially in their hometown.

      Wow if I had to wait 2 and a half hours just for someone to start their set I'd probably leave... And only three hours? I've waited in lines for almost entire days!!

      Yea I always try to get in the front (although for the first 20 monutes I thought I was going to pass out). Well yea shows are fun!

      How long did you end up having to wait in line to get in the front? I usually have to wait for hours... And yes, I know the feeling.

      That's cool :) I'd never been to a show where everyone lost their freaking minds like last night (took that picture right after Cedric did a little monologue). Hope you get a chance to see them soon!

      That's a great picture. Seems like you were pretty close. And I'd love to see them! I love going to shows even if I'm not really familiar with the artists....

      Oh I've seen a lot of people! I've seen the Head and the Heart, Young the Giant, Bombay Bicycle Club (of course...) Florence + the Machine and Mumford and Sons.
