Cause it was cheaper during a 1 day only sale when I got it. The 18-135mm I use for casual use for close up shots, while the other when I'm taking outfit photos. Bf uses the camera much more so not sure about the mm but I'm sure it varies according to lighting, angle etc.

I bought it with a twin lens kit, and mainly use the 55-250mm lens. I do need to shop for a better lens once I've done my homework on lenses.

You should use something local to you, so it's easy for you to get support when needed. If your just buying a domain name for a blog that is powered by Tumblr/Wordpress/Blogspot, doesn't really matter where you buy it since your not hosting your blogging content.
